The Team
The service employs a skilled, reliable and flexible work force that is committed to providing good quality care services to individuals.
Team members receive training relevant to working with our customer base and additional bespoke training to meet individual client requirements. They are supported to gain appropriate qualifications, training and development to enable them to provide a high-quality service.
We follow advice from the Care Quality Commission, Skills for Care, Social Care Information Service and the Social Care Institute for Excellence to identify best practices in training and development for our employees.
The service is overseen and supported by a registered manager with the Care Quality Commission and service managers who are skilled in delivering high quality services.
Katrina Latham
Managing DirectorKatrina leads Flexi Care & Support service and responsible for the operations of the company.
Prior to starting the company in 2016 she had 28 years’ experience of providing support services to adults with learning disabilities and with varying complex & health needs, for the NHS and laterly Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council where she developed and managed the Supported Living Service from 2001 to 2016 as the Registered Manager.
She is qualified in the management of health and social care services and is dedicated to providing high quality care services to people of all abilities.

Martin Kelly
Finance DirectorSkilled accountant with 39 years in finance and HR. Diverse experience in a financial management and administration.
Martin ensures compliance with policies and HR established practices, interpreting regulations, developing excellent customer rapport, resolving problems, advising and guiding on improving company procedures.

Operations DirectorOver the past 18 years I have worked in various roles within the Care Sector, initially starting my career as a support worker, then a Senior Lead, progressing to Day Centre Manager, Quality Assurance Manager and finally my current role as Operations Director. I have experience working with individuals with all abilities, including complex & specialist care needs, trauma and autism.
Within my role as Operations Director, I take a lead in Recruitment, Compliance, Quality & Data protection; ensuring that our service provides outstanding quality of care for the people we support.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. IOSH Managing Safety, First Aider certificate and Level 4 safeguarding certification.
I find fulfilment in delivering compassionate care that enhances individuals’ quality of life.

Registered ManagerMy career began 8 years ago when I decided to pursue a career in the social care sector and completing my Level 3 Diploma as a Care Assistant which allowed me to progress as a Senior Care Assistant and a Team Leader.
After 3 years I progressed into service management as a Deputy Manager and then onto a Registered Manager shortly afterwards.
During this time, I have worked in a number of different settings such as Nursing Homes, Care Homes, Domiciliary settings and also Supported Living.
This has allowed me to support a number of individuals with different needs such as complex health needs, brain injuries, spinal injuries, progressive neurodegenerative disorders, learning disabilities, autism and mental health.
I pride myself on being a supportive and visible manager to the staff team, service users and their families. I strive to lead the team on providing high quality support to enhance lives and fulfil goals.
I am responsible for continuously updating my knowledge of the latest legislation and statutory guidance from CQC to ensure that we can consistently develop as a service.

Our team members are trained to support you to become as independant as possible, achieve the things you want to do, and help you plan for the future.
They will:
- Empower you to make your own choices by providing any information, advice or support you need
- Respect your confidentiality by keeping any information you share private - they will only share information with services, such as your GP or Social Worker if they think you are at risk
- Treat you with dignity and respect at all times
- Support you to achieve your personal goals at home or in the community and help you access activities that you enjoy, whilst ensuring your safety and wellbeing
