The Team

The service employs a skilled, reliable and flexible work force that is committed to providing good quality care services to individuals.

Team members receive training relevant to working with our customer base and additional bespoke training to meet individual client requirements. They are supported to gain appropriate qualifications, training and development to enable them to provide a high-quality service.

We follow advice from the Care Quality Commission, Skills for Care, Social Care Information Service and the Social Care Institute for Excellence to identify best practices in training and development for our employees.

The service is overseen and supported by a registered manager with the Care Quality Commission and service managers who are skilled in delivering high quality services.

Katrina Latham

Managing Director

Katrina leads the FlexiCare & Support service and is responsible for the operations of the company.

Prior to starting the company in 2016 Katrina had 28 years’ experience of providing support services to adults with learning disabilities, for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council where she developed and managed the Supported Living Service from 2001 to 2016.

She is qualified in the management of health and social care services.

Martin Kelly

Finance Director

Skilled accountant with 30 years in finance and HR. Diverse experience in a financial management and administration.

Martin ensures compliance with policies and HR established practices, interpreting regulations, developing excellent customer rapport, resolving problems, advising and guiding on improving company procedures.

Kary Jones

Registered Manager

Kary Jones is the Registered Manager for Flexi Care & Support, with 11 years’ experience managing community enablement services for adults and children with significant challenging behaviours, complex health issues, learning disabilities and autism in line with government legislation.

She embraces the principals of personalisation, focussing on rights, choice, respect and independence for the people she works with.

Marie Stapleton

Care Manager

Marie is a qualified health & social care manager focused on the personalisation of service delivery. Marie is passionate about supporting individuals to make their voices heard and have control over their life choices. Experienced in managing and coordinating outcome focussed support to individuals, delivering quality services through a dedicated staff team, ensuring compliance to Care Quality Commission regulations and organisational policies and procedures.

We’ve had Sarah come into our home for the last few months to help out with William. They have struck up an amazing relationship, and Sarah’s attention is with him 100% of the time. We feel so comfortable with her helping with him; and know William loves having her around. It’s hard for us to have someone in our home; but Sarah makes us feel so at ease and is like part of our family. We were unsure about using support service, as I felt it may be uncomfortable. Our team members are trained to support you to become as independant as possible, achieve the things you want to do, and help you plan for the future.

They will:

Empower you to make your own choices by providing any information, advice or support you need
Respect your confidentiality by keeping any information you share private - they will only share information with services, such as your GP or Social Worker if they think you are at risk
Treat you with dignity and respect at all times
Support you to achieve your personal goals at home or in the community and help you access activities that you enjoy, whilst ensuring your safety and wellbeing
