Flexi Care & Support...
The Team
The service employs a skilled, reliable and flexible work force that is committed to providing good quality care services to individuals.
Team members receive training relevant to working with our customer base and additional bespoke training to meet individual client requirements. They are supported to gain appropriate qualifications, training and development to enable them to provide a high-quality service.
We follow advice from the Care Quality Commission, Skills for Care, Social Care Information Service and the Social Care Institute for Excellence to identify best practices in training and development for our employees.
The service is overseen and supported by a registered manager with the Care Quality Commission and service managers who are skilled in delivering high quality services.
Allan Watson
Care ManagerI regard myself as a team player and wouldn’t expect any of our team members to do a task that I wasn’t prepared to do.
I have worked in various roles throughout my career in the care sector. I originally worked as a healthcare assistant in a domiciliary care service in York, then I progressed to Senior healthcare assistant and supported nursing and dementia sufferers in a residential care home. After this, I took on a new role in Knaresborough as Team Leader in a nursing home for dementia sufferers.
Over the years I have supported individuals with complex and specialist care needs, providing me the opportunity to train in many clinical skills including tracheostomy care and peg feeding.
I strive to create a positive culture and uphold the overall governance of the service by guiding and supporting the team. I look upon myself as a good leader and I am approachable by all.
